A Studio Built on Craft and Conviction
Atelier Design Studio was founded in 2010 by Elena Vasquez, a former architect who fell in love with the intimate scale of residential interiors. After training at Parsons and apprenticing under acclaimed designer Rose Tarlow, Elena established Atelier to bridge the gap between high design and livable comfort.
Today, our studio of twelve designers, project managers, and artisan liaisons manages a curated portfolio of residential projects across Los Angeles, Montecito, and Palm Springs. We take on fewer than fifteen projects per year, ensuring every client receives our complete creative attention.
Our Design Philosophy
We believe great design is invisible -- it doesn't shout for attention but quietly enhances every moment of daily life. Our interiors are built on proportion, natural materials, and a deep respect for craftsmanship that elevates the ordinary into the extraordinary.
Every Atelier project tells a story. We source materials from Italian quarries, Japanese textile studios, and Scandinavian furniture makers -- always seeking the piece that will make a room feel complete, not merely decorated.
